Veteran actress Tisha Campbell turned heads on the 2024 BET Awards red carpet, confidently showing off the results of her recent “mommy makeover.”
Styled by celebrity fashion expert J. Bolin, Campbell stunned in a burgundy leather, curve-hugging gown adorned with belt buckles, perfectly complemented by her matching wavy hairstyle.
During a chat with Entertainment Tonight at the Peacock Theater, Campbell opened up about undergoing cosmetic surgery to refresh her figure after having two children. While she didn’t disclose the exact details or timing of her procedures, she proudly shared that she finally feels “snatched.”
“I’m doing great. Yes. It’s snatched now, so that’s good,” she said. “I had extra skin and droppage from having two sons.”
Campbell, who shares two sons with ex-husband Duane Martin (born in 2001 and 2009), said the makeover helped tighten the loose skin left from childbirth, boosting both her confidence and comfort.
The actress also revealed that she has been candid about her surgical journey with friends in the industry, including Tamara Johnson-George and Leanne Lyons, both of whom are now considering similar procedures thanks to her recommendation.
“We should be feeling good about ourselves,” Campbell emphasized.
For Campbell, the decision wasn’t about pressure from Hollywood or public expectation—it was about self-love.
“I just wanted to feel good for me, and that’s what this was allowing me to have… just to feel good about me,” she explained.
More stars are speaking openly about cosmetic procedures these days. In April, Rihanna candidly shared her thoughts about getting a lift, joking she wants her breasts “pinned back to [her] shoulders.”
Kylie Jenner also recently confirmed details about her breast implants—listing the exact size and surgeon—while Sexyy Red sparked surgery rumors after sharing post-op photos online.
As the stigma surrounding plastic surgery fades, celebrities like Tisha Campbell are leading the way with honesty and empowerment, showing that confidence comes in many forms.
