Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has publicly acknowledged the sweet birthday tribute from her former best friend, Bobrisky, sparking fresh speculation about a possible reconciliation between the two.
On her 40th birthday, Bobrisky took to Instagram to share stunning photos of Tonto, reflecting on their once-strong bond that spanned over five years. He expressed gratitude to God for allowing him to witness her milestone celebration and showered her with heartfelt prayers and blessings.
In response, Tonto warmly replied in his comment section, writing:
“Aww, thank you, Bobbi. Amen, Amen, Amen.“
Their public exchange has caught the attention of fans, many of whom remember their once-inseparable friendship. The duo famously fell out in 2020 after a series of social media spats and accusations.
In 2022, Bobrisky had claimed that Tonto was living a “fake life” and allegedly owed him N5 million, insisting he often covered her bills during their friendship.
He also accused her of encouraging him to troll her rivals online. However, by April 2023, Bobrisky admitted during an interview that he missed Tonto, describing her as a “sister” and blaming their fallout on their mutual temperaments.
In a surprising twist last year, Tonto extended an olive branch by showing concern during Bobrisky’s reported custody ordeal with the EFCC.
