Popular comedian and self-proclaimed prophet, Woli Arole, has sparked online debate after sharing his views on sexual fantasies within Christian marriages, specifically denouncing the practice of BDSM.
Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, Arole stated that it is “wrong for Christians to practice BDSM in marriage,” describing it as incompatible with godly values.
BDSM—which includes bondage, discipline, dominance, submission, and sadism—is often viewed as a personal preference among consenting adults.
However, Arole insists that believers must uphold a different standard.
His comments have drawn mixed reactions on social media. While some users support his stance, others argue that what married couples choose to do in their bedroom is private and not inherently sinful if both partners consent.
One user commented, “So long as there’s mutual agreement and no harm, I don’t see how that’s sinful.” Another added, “People keep pushing their personal convictions as doctrine.”
Arole, known for blending humor with spirituality, is no stranger to stirring public conversations around faith and lifestyle.
