As Beyoncé continues to dazzle fans with her blockbuster Cowboy Carter Tour in Atlanta, members of her team have been rocked by a major security breach — the theft of unreleased music and show materials.
According to Channel 2 Action News, the robbery took place at the Krog Street Market parking garage after 8:00 p.m., involving a black Jeep Wagoneer rented by Beyoncé’s choreographer, Chris Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue.
When the duo returned to the vehicle, they found the trunk window smashed and two suitcases missing. Inside those bags were:
-
Jump drives containing unreleased music
-
Footage for upcoming tour shows
-
Setlists for past and future performances
-
Laptops, designer sunglasses, clothes, and headphones
Atlanta police confirmed that surveillance footage has been reviewed and tracking technology from the stolen headphones is helping to move the investigation forward. One individual is currently being questioned, although no names have been released yet.
The theft casts a shadow over the otherwise successful Atlanta leg of Beyoncé’s tour, which concludes tonight (July 14) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Investigation Ongoing
With the sensitive nature of the stolen items — especially the unreleased music — fans and insiders are hopeful the content will be recovered before any potential leaks.
