Atlanta rapper Ca$h Out, born John Michael Gibson, has been found guilty on multiple charges, including rape, aggravated sodomy, sex trafficking, pimping, and violating Georgia’s RICO Act.
A Fulton County jury delivered the verdict following a high-profile trial that exposed a disturbing criminal operation allegedly run under the guise of his music label.
Prosecutors argued that Gibson used his label, Pyrez Music Group, as a front for a sex trafficking ring that exploited young women through coercion, physical violence, and manipulation. He was accused of using threats, force, and deprivation to control his victims and profit from their exploitation.
Gibson was also convicted alongside his mother, Linda Smith, and associate Tyrone Taylor, both of whom were implicated in the trafficking network.
The charges stemmed from a sweeping indictment filed in 2023, which followed years of investigation.
Sentencing is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m., and Gibson faces decades in prison.
