Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, has hailed Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr as a rising global music force.
During Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres world tour stop at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Martin introduced the Mavin Records star with glowing praise, saying:
“This is Ayra Starr from Nigeria. She is going to be the world’s biggest pop star so soon.”
The surprise collaboration came during a performance of their joint track “Good Feelings”, followed by Ayra Starr delivering her latest single “Hot Body” to a roaring crowd that included football icon Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo.
