Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, has hailed Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr as a rising global music force.

During Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres world tour stop at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Martin introduced the Mavin Records star with glowing praise, saying:

“This is Ayra Starr from Nigeria. She is going to be the world’s biggest pop star so soon.”

The surprise collaboration came during a performance of their joint track “Good Feelings”, followed by Ayra Starr delivering her latest single “Hot Body” to a roaring crowd that included football icon Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo.

Ayra Starr Addresses Rumored Roc Nation Contract Clause

In a separate development, Ayra Starr recently responded to viral claims that her new five-year deal with Roc Nation allegedly forbids her from dating or starting a family.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, the ‘Sability’ singer denied any such restriction:

“What are you guys talking about? Please let’s all be guided.”

The rumor had circulated widely following her announcement of signing with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, sparking debates on artist freedom and contractual obligations. However, the rising star has now firmly shut down those speculations.
