Kimberly Olanma Nweze, daughter of Nigeria’s Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has achieved an academic milestone by graduating with First Class Honours in Robotics Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
According to reports, Kimberly is only the second known Nigerian to earn a first-class degree in Robotics Engineering. The first was Silas Adekunle, the renowned inventor of MekaMon—the world’s first intelligent gaming robot—who earned his degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
Senator Umahi and his wife, Rachel Umahi, were present at the graduation ceremony to celebrate their daughter’s outstanding accomplishment.
