Gagasi FM Responds to Minnie Ntuli’s On-Air Bullying Scandal on Real Housewives of Durban

Gagasi FM has broken its silence following intense backlash after shocking footage of radio presenter Minnie Ntuli physically confronting singer Londie London aired during the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) reunion episode on 11 July 2025.

The altercation, captured during a cast trip to the Maldives and broadcast on Showmax, showed Minnie Ntuli aggressively confronting Londie London — even shoving her forehead multiple times. Londie remained composed, avoiding retaliation, a reaction that drew widespread praise from viewers.

Viewers Outraged, Petition Gathers Momentum

Following the reunion’s release, thousands of viewers flooded Gagasi FM’s social media pages demanding disciplinary action against Minnie. Many labeled her behavior “bullying and unprofessional,” with some urging the station to fire her.

A Change.org petition titled “Remove Minnie Ntuli from radio and TV platforms for bullying behaviour” has now garnered over 54,900 signatures, with supporters accusing the presenter of aggression and calling for her removal from all media platforms.

Gagasi FM Issues Official Statement

In an official press release, Gagasi FM acknowledged the incident, expressing concern and confirming that they had begun engaging with Minnie about the confrontation.

“Gagasi FM has noted with concern the recent episode of The Real Housewives of Durban, in which one of our presenters, Minnie Ntuli, is seen involved in a confrontation that escalates into a physical altercation with a fellow cast member.”

The station clarified that RHOD is an independent production, and that Minnie’s actions occurred outside the scope of her professional duties at the station. However, they acknowledged the impact the incident had on Gagasi FM’s brand and community trust.

Minnie Ntuli Takes Responsibility

According to Gagasi FM, Minnie has taken “full accountability” for her actions. She reportedly wrote an apology letter to the show’s production team and cast members, which was meant to be read during the reunion.

The statement also revealed that Minnie has agreed to seek professional help to better manage her emotional responses — a move the station supports.

“Our focus is on promoting reconciliation… Both Minnie and the other cast member are professionals in the media industry, and it is likely they will work together again in future.”

Gagasi FM Calls for Patience and Healing

The station concluded by urging listeners, partners, and sponsors to be patient while they work through the issue with a focus on healing, accountability, and respect.
