Actress Kemi Korede Builds Beautiful New House for Her Parents, Shares Emotional Moment

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Oluwakemi Ojo, popularly known as Kemi Korede, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to God after fulfilling a lifelong dream—building a new house for her parents.

The emotional moment was shared on Tuesday via her Instagram page, where the mother of three posted a touching video showing the transformation from the foundation to the finished home.

In her caption, the actress wrote:

“I am filled with immense gratitude as I share this dream come true. I’ve been building a house for my parents, and by Allah’s grace, I finally handed it over to them. This moment is emotional for me because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do for my beloved parents.

“They are my everything, and I’m so thankful for the strength to complete this project. I am also thankful to my siblings for their unwavering support. This is not just a house; it’s a symbol of our love, unity, and gratitude. Alhamdulillah for everything.”

From Nursing to Nollywood

Kemi Korede, who initially trained and worked as a nurse, transitioned into acting full-time and made her screen debut in the 2006 Yoruba film “Omobewaji.” Since then, she has gained recognition for her roles in movies like “Afi Ibi Solore” and “Ile Olorogun.”

Kemi Korede now joins the list of Nollywood stars who have publicly built homes for their parents. In 2020, actress Bimbo Afolayan also gifted her mother a house, earning admiration from fans and colleagues.
