Kristin Cabot, the Chief People Officer at tech company Astronomer, has officially resigned following a viral scandal involving former CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts.
The incident, which occurred on July 16, gained widespread attention after Cabot and Byron were seen getting intimately close on the venue’s kiss cam.
The footage sparked a wave of online speculation — fueled further by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who jokingly remarked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
In the wake of the controversy, both executives were placed on administrative leave as Astronomer initiated an internal investigation. Byron resigned as CEO on July 19, and Cabot’s resignation followed shortly afterward.
The astronomer has not publicly commented on the findings of its internal review, but confirmed both leadership exits as part of the company’s efforts to restore focus and integrity.
