Eyewitnesses Describe the Chaos
Pastor Donovan Price, who was present at the scene shortly after the gunfire erupted, described the panic and despair that followed.
“The worst I’ve seen. People were trying to find their loved ones, their phones, car keys. It was total chaos,” he said. “Chicago has seen shootings, but this was unlike anything else.”
This marks the second time a mass shooting has occurred at the venue. In 2022, when it operated under the name Hush Nightclub, a separate shooting incident left one dead and three injured. Following that event, the venue was temporarily shut down by authorities.
