Veteran Nollywood actress Mosun Filani has addressed a fan’s criticism regarding her performance in “Konge 3 (The Final Saga),” the concluding part of Wumi Toriola’s trending Yoruba movie trilogy.

The fan took to Mosun’s Instagram page to express disappointment with her screen time and role in the film. In a firm but thoughtful response, Mosun urged the viewer to focus on the movie’s message rather than judge the actors by their roles.

“Haaaa. Na movie o, if I no act well, na una go complain. I did a good job, now una don dey hate me,” she wrote.

She continued with a strong reminder that acting is a craft built on storytelling and not a reflection of real life:

“Kilo sele gangan.
It’s a MOVIE!!!
I got the script.
Got into character and delivered perfectly for y’all enjoyment.
That’s why it’s called MAKE BELIEVE!!!

Mosun further clarified that her on-screen character is far from her real-life personality and encouraged viewers to learn from the movie’s themes of betrayal and resilience:

“NOTE: That’s not me. That’s not my personality in real life. I have had my own share of friendship and even family betrayal, too.
Watch the movie… Learn and move on… Don’t hate on the actors.”

“Konge 3”, produced by Wumi Toriola, follows the emotional journey of Tiwa, a single mother grappling with betrayal and societal pressure. The film has garnered massive views on YouTube since its release, sparking debates and praise for its powerful storyline and performances.
