Petronella Nontsikelelo Tshuma (born on January 13, 1990, 36 years old) is from Francistown, Botswana. She was raised by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tshuma. At the age of five, she moved with her family to South Africa, settling in the vibrant neighbourhood of Hillbrow, Johannesburg.
She attended Filton High School, where she majored in Drama and delivered a standout performance as Carmen in the musical Fame. From 2006 to 2008, she pursued formal training at the South West Academy of Dramatic Arts (SWADA), earning a BTEC in Acting.

Although she was the first female contestant eliminated, her talent shone through, landing her a breakthrough role as Ruby, an adopted teenager, on the show.TV’s Scandal! in November 2011.
