Nollywood actress Racheal Adelaja has called out her colleagues in the film industry for their lack of concern during a life-threatening ordeal she faced months ago.
In a heartfelt post shared on her Instagram page, Racheal expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing her life after what she described as a near-death experience. She said the situation was so dire that she wasn’t certain she would survive, but “Mercy said no.”
“God Gave Me Another Chance at Life”
“Oba Alapadupe,” she began, acknowledging God’s grace over her life.
“The God who owns my life, the One who didn’t let me die before my time, I say thank you, Lord,” she wrote.
She shared that months ago, she embarked on a journey that almost cost her her life but was given “another chance at life” by divine intervention.
Disappointed by Nollywood Colleagues
While she thanked fans, friends, and supporters who checked in on her during her absence from social media, she openly criticized her Nollywood colleagues, whom she claims ignored her situation despite being aware of it.
“To those who noticed my sudden absence on all social media and checked in, I truly appreciate you.
As for some of my Nollywood colleagues… You heard about what happened, yet not a single call or text — but you had the time to discuss me at different locations.
If I had died, some of you would have written the longest tributes online,” she lamented.
She concluded her message with thanksgiving, stating:
“God didn’t make me a headline through death. He gave me life, and for that, I return all the glory to Him.”
