Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has called out Royal Air Maroc (RAM), a Moroccan national airline, over his missing luggage, which he claims disappeared during a flight from Lagos to Freetown via Morocco on June 26, 2025.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the award-winning musician accused the airline of negligence and possibly theft, stating that despite being a business class passenger with luggage priority, his bag never made it onto his connecting flight to Freetown.
“I saw my bag from the plane. They told me it would be put in. I got to Freetown and my bag was missing. I’ve called, emailed, and even complained to NAHCO. Since June 26, no response. It’s starting to look like they stole my stuff,” Dakolo said.
He emphasized that the missing luggage contains valuable items, insisting, “It’s not anyhow luggage oo.”
Popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, also joined the call for action, urging Royal Air Maroc and aviation authorities to resolve the issue and return Dakolo’s belongings.
“Air Maroc, please what is going on with Timi Dakolo’s bag? Can the authorities please look into this?” he said in a video shared on Instagram.
As of the time of filing this report, Royal Air Maroc has yet to respond publicly to the allegations.
