The actress expressed gratitude to her new management team for their support, saying she is open to fresh opportunities—ranging from endorsements to film roles and event collaborations.
Surviving Breast Cancer: Her Brave Journey
Tope Osoba was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2024 after discovering a lump during a routine self-examination. Although her initial doctor dismissed the growth as hormonal, the lump eventually enlarged, prompting further tests that confirmed it was cancerous.
She underwent her first surgery in November 2024 to remove the tumor. However, a second procedure was recommended to eliminate residual cancer cells, with the total treatment cost projected at ₦12 million.
After going public with her diagnosis, the actress received an outpouring of support from the Nollywood community. Celebrities like Foluke Daramola and Alesh Sanni amplified her plea for help, and fans rallied around her.
Fortunately, after additional scans, doctors confirmed the cancer had not spread, and chemotherapy was no longer required. She was placed on radiation therapy and has since been declared cancer-free.
A New Beginning for Tope Osoba
Known for her roles in Yoruba films such as Ile Owo, Omo Iya Kan, and Gucci Girls, Tope is now focused on relaunching her career and using her voice to support others battling cancer.
“Thank you for your unwavering support. I’m looking forward to this new journey with all of you!” she said.
