Blessing CEO Reacts as Partner IVD Is Arrested at Airport While Allegedly Attempting to Flee Nigeria

Self-acclaimed relationship therapist and social media personality Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has responded subtly to reports that her partner, controversial auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, was arrested while attempting to leave Nigeria.

According to blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, IVD was apprehended on Friday at a Nigerian airport while allegedly trying to board a flight to Qatar. Reports claim that the arrest is linked to the ongoing domestic violence case surrounding the tragic death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, in 2022.

“IVD Is Not Supposed to Leave Nigeria”

In her report, Stella wrote:

“Insiders say the arrest has to do with the domestic violence case against him regarding his late wife Bimbo which is still in court…. IVD is not supposed to leave Nigeria until the case is over.”

She added that the businessman is expected to remain in police custody until Monday, when he is likely to appear in court again.

Blessing CEO Reacts Online

Despite confirming the arrest to sources, Blessing CEO appeared unfazed on social media. She posted stunning images of herself in a traditional bridal look on Instagram with the caption:

Bride to be. Saturdays are for weddings.

This post sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many users calling out her composure and involvement in IVD’s legal troubles.

“You never enter marriage, you don dey waka police station dey go give person food for cell,” one user said.

Another commenter wrote: “I think his late wife is at work. Make she start to dey revenge. This one sweet me.”

“Too much chocho on social media no good ooh… her body go come down now,” someone else added.

The IVD-Bimbo Tragedy and Ongoing Trial

IVD has remained in the public eye since his wife Bimbo Ogbonna died in October 2022 following a violent domestic altercation. He was later charged with involuntary manslaughter and granted bail.

Despite the charges, IVD has continued to make headlines, especially due to his blossoming relationship with Blessing CEO, who once claimed to be his “therapist” but has since embraced the label of his wife and support system.

Last month, IVD stirred controversy with a post praising Blessing CEO while apparently throwing a jab at his late wife. He wrote:

“I fell in love again. I found happiness again. I found a good thing and I will never lose it.”

In another post, he added:

“I found a helper, I found a friend, I found a mother. Thank you @bceo_official.”
