Former Arsenal and Chelsea defender, David Luiz, has reacted to allegations of cheating on his partner and soliciting a threesome, made by a Brazilian woman, Karol Cavalcante.
Cavalcante claimed in an interview with Leo Dias that she and Luiz had been exchanging flirty Instagram messages in vanish mode. She alleged that after their first meeting in Fortaleza, the footballer suggested having a threesome with one of her friends.
According to her, Luiz’s attitude later became aggressive, leaving her feeling insecure.
However, David Luiz, who has two children with his partner Bruno Loureiro, denied the claims through a statement released by his management company, ALOB Sports.
The statement alleged that Karol initiated contact by sending David Luiz intimate images at different times:
“Before any interaction, the player received intimate images of the person mentioned at different times in order to arouse the athlete’s attention. After a period and only for a brief moment, David interacted by messages, but there was never any face-to-face meeting between the parties. (…) David Luiz reiterates his commitment to the truth and trusts that the facts will be properly clarified.”
The 37-year-old former PSG and Chelsea star maintains that no physical encounter occurred and expressed confidence that the matter will be resolved.
