Singer Davido’s much-anticipated legal wedding to Chioma Rowland in Miami, Florida, will be missing two very important guests — his parents-in-law.
According to reports by blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, Chioma’s parents have allegedly been banned from entering the United States for 10 years after their five-year visas were revoked. The sanction reportedly stems from a visa violation during a previous visit.
The report claims that after Davido and Chioma held their traditional wedding in 2024, Chioma traveled to the US with her parents and sister. Her parents allegedly stayed for over a year before returning to Nigeria — a move said to be against the terms of their visa.
Upon their return, US authorities reportedly revoked their visas and imposed a decade-long entry ban. This development means Chioma’s father, who was expected to walk her down the aisle, will now miss the ceremony.
Quoting a source, the report reads:
“It is a pity now because they cannot attend their daughter’s wedding in Florida… The terms of the visa was explained to them when they got it but I guess they may have forgotten.”
The wedding, scheduled for Saturday, is expected to be streamed live so that Chioma’s parents can watch from Nigeria.
