Award-winning Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has publicly confirmed the breakdown of her marriage, citing serious allegations against her estranged husband, Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze.
In a heartfelt post shared on Facebook, the actress claimed that her husband never paid her bride price and accused him of threatening her life following a series of disputes over finances.
Okoro alleged that her husband had assumed she was wealthy and expected financial support from her. However, when she refused to give him money, tensions escalated, ultimately leading to the collapse of their union.
“He never paid my bride price. He only married me because he thought I was rich,” she wrote.
“Now he’s threatening my life because I refused to give him money. I can’t keep quiet anymore.”
The actress’s revelations have sparked concern among fans and colleagues, with many urging her to prioritize her safety and take legal action if necessary.
As of now, Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze has not publicly responded to the allegations.
