French Montana is officially off the market as the rapper is now engaged to Dubai royal, Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum.
A representative for Montana — real name Karim Kharbouch — confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday that the couple is set to wed. While details of the proposal remain private, the spokesperson revealed that the rapper popped the question in June while they were in Paris for Fashion Week.
Neither French Montana nor Sheikha Mahra has publicly spoken about the engagement, but a source disclosed that “both sides of their families are excited” about the upcoming wedding.
The 40-year-old rapper and the 31-year-old princess reportedly began dating in late 2024. Sheikha Mahra, the daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, made headlines in July 2024 when she announced her divorce from Emirati businessman Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum through a striking Instagram post that ended with, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”
This will be French Montana’s second marriage. He was previously married to Deen Kharbouch from 2007 until their divorce was finalised in 2014. The former couple shares a 16-year-old son, Kruz.
Over the years, the Morocco-born star has also been romantically linked with Khloé Kardashian and Iggy Azalea.
