Former Big Brother Naija Season 4 housemate, Natasha Anita Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has claimed that she would have emerged winner of the reality show if not for her disqualification.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Hot Takes podcast, Tacha explained that she was confident of victory because she consistently survived eviction despite being nominated multiple times.
According to her, she remains the most-nominated housemate in BBNaija history, having faced possible eviction eleven times.
“I knew I was going to win. The fact that the other housemates were always putting me up for eviction… In the history of Big Brother Naija, no housemate has stood for eviction as much as I have. I was up for eleven possible evictions. But the fact that I kept bouncing back, I knew I had massive supporters outside,” she said.
Tacha was eventually disqualified from Season 4 over violent conduct, paving the way for her main rival, Mercy Eke, who went on to win the show.
