Popular forex trader Ahmed Yusuf, known as Ahmed XM, has issued a strong warning to social media users attacking his current wife, Safeerah Abba, amid backlash following his divorce from his first wife, Safiya Umar.
In a post on Instagram, Ahmed expressed dismay over the “campaign of hate” targeted at Safeerah, clarifying that she had no role in the breakdown of his previous marriage. He warned that legal action may follow if the harassment continues.
“Safeerah had absolutely nothing to do with the end of my previous marriage… It hurts to see someone I love being falsely accused and insulted,” Ahmed said.
Safeerah, a medical student and influencer, also defended herself, saying:
“I’ve never come out to seek pity. I’m not here to play innocent. I’m just tired of the lies.”
His first wife, Safiya Umar, confirmed their split in a separate post, thanking her supporters and asking for peace.
Ahmed married Safiya in 2024 and later married Safeerah in 2025, rekindling a previous relationship. The situation has caused massive social media drama, especially after a viral birthday moment involving both women.
Ahmed is now pleading for privacy and space to heal for all parties involved.
