Tension is brewing in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house as housemate Isabella has issued a stern warning to her love interest, Kayikunmi, following his decision to accept an invitation to the Head of House (HOH) lounge from newly appointed HOH, Thelma Lawson.
The drama unfolded after Thelma became the first female Head of House this season by defeating former HOH Jason Jae in the competitive challenge on Sunday. To the surprise of many, Thelma picked Kayikunmi—Isabella’s romantic partner in the house—as her guest for the exclusive HOH lounge privilege.
Isabella did not take the development lightly. In a candid conversation with fellow housemate Kola, she expressed deep embarrassment and anger, stating that Kayikunmi had publicly disrespected her by accepting the offer.
“This is one week, and I’m never going to speak to him again, ever,” Isabella said. “If Ebuka brings it up at the reunion, I won’t talk about it.”
She further questioned why Kayikunmi didn’t decline Thelma’s invitation, accusing Thelma of making the choice intentionally to get under her skin.
“He thinks the immunity Thelma has covers him? Why didn’t he just say no?” she fumed.
Kola, siding with her to some extent, admitted, “I have to be honest with you, it was a bit embarrassing.”
Isabella, clearly upset, reflected on how her emotions have gotten the better of her.
“What’s paining me is the embarrassment on TV. My friends go say this girl no dey learn, no dey love man pass how e go love you,” she lamented. “I don’t learn that, but one day I go learn.”
