Meghan Markle says she is happier than ever living in sunny California, but the Duchess of Sussex admits there’s still one thing she truly misses about life in the UK.
In the newly released second season of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which premiered in the early hours of Tuesday morning, the former actress opened up to fashion star Tan France about the little comfort she can’t find in the United States.
“Honestly one of the things I miss the most about the UK is the radio station… Magic FM,” Meghan confessed.
The Suits alum, 44, revealed that in place of the station, she now listens to a channel called Mom Jeans that plays vintage soft rock.
France, clearly surprised, teased her in response: “Magic FM. Wow! Sorry to say this to you publicly, but that’s such a grandma station.”
The Duchess, who hasn’t been back to Prince Harry’s homeland since September 2022, also gave fans rare insight into the early days of her romance with the Duke of Sussex.
Meghan shared that it was Harry who first said “I love you” during their whirlwind romance, and she realized she loved him too while on their third date — a week-long safari trip to Botswana in 2016.
“We met in Botswana and we camped for five days together,” she recalled. “You really get to know each other when you’re in a little tent together and it’s like – what is that outside the tent? That’s an elephant. Are we going to be safe? Yeah, you’re safe. OK.”
