Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has slammed a troll who left a deeply offensive comment about her inability to conceive.
The actress, who has been actively promoting her new movie Miracle on Instagram, took to her page to share a screenshot of the disturbing message. In the post, the troll mocked her childlessness, cruelly tying it to the title of her film.
In the vile remarks, the troll branded Mo Bimpe “barren” and “wombless,” while claiming that only God could “repair her womb.” The individual went further, challenging her to reveal “what happened” to her womb and suggesting that the day she gives birth would mark the end of the world.
The message read in part:
“Your miracle should be the birth of your child but the normalcy of you being celebrated without a child has made it more reasonable to you that kids are actually useless… You’re a barren and womb-less woman!!!!! Only God can repair your womb because it’s more than reconstruction!!!!”
Mo Bimpe, who is married to fellow actor Lateef Adedimeji, did not stay silent as she blasted the troll for the insensitive attack.
While she has not disclosed further details, her decision to call out the comment has sparked conversations online about cyberbullying and the pressure placed on women in the entertainment industry regarding childbirth.
