South African actress and producer Ntando Duma has sparked a social media frenzy after admitting she is not interested in dating men who already have children.
The mother-of-one, who tied the knot with musician Una Rams earlier this year and recently welcomed their baby girl, made the revelation during a candid chat on L-Tido’s podcast. She explained that she has never dated a man with a child, and such men were never on her list of preferences.
Her remarks, however, quickly triggered heated debate on X (formerly Twitter). Many accused her of double standards, pointing out that Una chose to be with her despite her being a mom when they first met.
Popular social media critic Chris Excel weighed in, writing: “Step fathers are the men that single mothers would not date if they didn’t have kids. The man who got her pregnant first was her type, not you. She’s with you because her type left her for better bums.”
Other users echoed similar sentiments, with one posting: “Why is she even on that podcast?
