Rasheedat Ajibade Signs for PSG Féminines After Leaving Atlético Madrid

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has completed a move to Paris Saint-Germain Féminines, sealing one of the standout transfers of the summer in women’s football.

The 24-year-old winger joined PSG on a two-year deal with an option for a third, following the expiration of her contract with Atlético Madrid. Ajibade has already linked up with her new teammates and begun training in Paris ahead of the new season.

The Nigerian star arrives at PSG with strong credentials, having been named Player of the Tournament at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she captained Nigeria to their record-extending 10th continental title.

Ajibade’s switch also means she will reunite with fellow Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini, further strengthening the African presence in PSG’s squad.
