Nigerian skit maker Remote has shared the reason behind his decision to marry at a young age.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Remote disclosed that he got married in 2020 after dating his wife for four years.
The comedian explained that the loss of his mother influenced the decision, as his wife had filled a nurturing role throughout their relationship.
“I got married in 2020. Why? The reason is that I don’t have a mother. I was alone. I had been dating my wife since 2016. She’s always been there, so supportive. She has acted like a mother to me in many ways. Even when I had nothing, she was the one supporting me,” he said.
Remote also recalled how her sacrifices and support during his struggling years made her stand out as the right life partner.
According to him, her patience and ability to cope with his personality convinced him that she was the only one who could truly handle him.
