Trump Burger Co-owner Arrested for Alleged Visa Overstay

Roland Mehrez Beainy, co-owner of the Trump-themed restaurant chain Trump Burger, has been taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

According to reports, Beainy was arrested in May 2025 on allegations of overstaying his visa. He first arrived in the United States in 2019 on a non-immigrant visitor visa, which required him to depart by February 12, 2024 — a date he reportedly missed.

On June 13, an immigration judge granted him bail, though his immigration case is still in progress.

Meanwhile, Trump Burger recently marked the opening of its latest branch on April 19 at 3410 Chimney Rock Road in Houston. This new outlet is the fourth in the Houston area, joining existing locations in Kemah, Bellville, and Flatonia.
