Nigerian comedian Ushbebe has shared his thoughts on what makes a marriage work, stressing that choosing the right partner is key.
In a recent post on his Instagram page, the comic actor explained that finding a spouse with a stable job who can handle basic responsibilities, such as rent and daily expenses, is a solid foundation—especially when both partners are working.
He noted that marriage can open doors to blessings and unexpected opportunities, including contracts or deals that may come through a partner’s network.
However, Ushbebe cautioned that financial stability alone isn’t enough. He advised singles to conduct proper background checks to avoid abusive or irresponsible partners, adding that respect, emotional balance, and mutual support are equally important for a lasting union.
