A courageous young Nigerian woman living with cerebral palsy has captured hearts across social media after issuing a heartfelt response to an online troll who insulted her appearance.
In a video currently making the rounds, the woman called out a troll who referred to her as an “imb*cile,” questioning, “what could be worse than that?”
Without bitterness, she addressed the cruelty behind such words, urging people to be mindful of the pain their comments can cause.
“You don’t have to like someone, but that doesn’t mean you must insult them,” she said. “You never know what life might bring your way — tomorrow you could have a child like me.”
She further emphasized that behind every profile is a real human being, and that social media anonymity does not excuse hate speech or online bullying.
Her grace and strength in handling the situation have earned her widespread admiration online, with many users calling her a source of inspiration and dignity in the face of cruelty.
