Nollywood actress and producer Yvonne Jegede has revealed why her latest project, “My Heartbeat”, was taken down from YouTube barely a day after its release.
In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, Yvonne expressed deep disappointment, stating that technical issues had forced her to remove the movie, despite the time and energy she had invested in the project.
She wrote:
“I’m sorry, we have to take my movie, ‘My Heartbeat’, down due to technical issues. This is beyond my control, and with so much pain, I’m typing this. It’s supposed to be my birthday, but some people who have obviously been paid have made my day a terrible one. All my efforts were just thrown away because of incompetence. I can’t imagine this happening, but it’s happening.”
Although the setback dampened what was supposed to be a special day for her, the actress appreciated the birthday wishes and the overwhelming support from fans. She assured them that she is already working on re-editing the movie with a new team.
“This morning, after ending my day on a bad note, instead of sending gratitude. I’m having to look for new people to rework the movie. Thanks to everyone who has posted and shared. I appreciate the calls and concerns. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I love you guys.”
Her candid post has since sparked conversations among fans and fellow actors, many of whom encouraged her not to give up.
