Legendary Nigerian singer 9ice has penned a heartfelt message to his colleague, Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia, as the music icon marks his 50th birthday.
In his message, 9ice acknowledged that not everyone is pleased with 2Face’s success, claiming that many secretly wish for his downfall.
However, he assured the ‘African Queen’ crooner that he will continue to rise above challenges.
“2Face, happy birthday to you. I wish you long life and prosperity. I know so many wish you fall but you shall never fall. I love you. You shall prosper,” 9ice said.
He further encouraged him, adding: “You are not going to fall. It’s just a phase of life. You will always overcome it. I love you. God bless you. Happy birthday to you.”
2Face, regarded as one of Africa’s greatest music exports, continues to receive tributes from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers as he celebrates his golden jubilee.
