Nollywood actress Aishat Lawal has opened up about how renowned architect Teju Ajayi, popularly known as Teju Oga, came through for her during a difficult period in her life.
The actress made the emotional revelation on Saturday during Teju Oga’s 45th birthday celebration held at Rosetree Event Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Recalling the incident, Aishat narrated how the architect unexpectedly gave her financial assistance at a crucial time when she was considering selling one of her most valued possessions.
“I was trying to sell something to get some stuff for my daughter. You were looking for me and I was like — when I got there, that money you gave me that day, you might not know o, but that money you gave me that day saved me from selling something very important to me and I still have that thing till date.
You looked for me, I don’t know why you looked for me that day, you just wanted to give me money. You didn’t just give me any money, you gave me a lot of money,” she said.
