Nigerian skit maker and streamer Carter Efe has revealed that he is facing the risk of being evicted from his current apartment.
In a video shared on Instagram, the entertainer explained that he was previously forced out of his former studio and now fears losing his present accommodation as well. The situation, he noted, comes at a difficult time as he prepares to celebrate his birthday on September 29.
Carter Efe, visibly emotional in the video, appealed to Nigerians for support and even shared his bank account details, seeking financial help to secure a new place.
“Since they started chasing me from my former studio, I don’t have anywhere to stay. Nigerians, I don’t have a place. Even this apartment, today they want to chase me,” he said.
“I’m tired of looking for a house. The last one I saw cost 18.4 million. I don’t know where I want to stay. My birthday is tomorrow, the 29th. I beg you, please help me rent a house.”
The skitmaker’s cry for help has since sparked online conversations, with fans divided between sympathy for his situation and skepticism about his public appeal.
