Former Oyo State First Lady, Florence Ajimobi, has paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, at his residence in Ibadan.
Sharing photos of the visit via her Facebook page on Tuesday, Mrs Ajimobi described the meeting as “a great honour” while commending the cultural significance of the throne of Olubadan.
“Our rich culture and tradition continue to stand tall through the throne of Olubadan,” she wrote.
The widow of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi also offered prayers for Ladoja’s reign, wishing him wisdom, peace, and prosperity for the people of Ibadanland and beyond.
Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, was nominated in August as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
His coronation programme has been scheduled to hold from September 22 to October 3, 2025.
