Controversial content creator, YouTuber, and DJ Honour Zuma, better known as Cyan Boujee, has once again set tongues wagging after revealing intimate details about her cosmetic surgery journey.
Speaking on The L-Tido Podcast, the 24-year-old influencer admitted that one of the biggest reasons she chose to go under the knife was her desire to look like her idol, American rapper Cardi B.
“I did my BBL because I just definitely wanted to. I had a lady I looked up to, and I just knew that one day I wanted to look like her,” Cyan said.
For her, the decision wasn’t about pleasing anyone else but about fulfilling her own vision of beauty.
Teenage Struggles With Body Image
Cyan opened up about how her body shape made her feel like an outsider growing up.
“No one really wanted to associate themselves with me because I looked so bold and straight. My body was like an ice-cream body… straight up. If I wore pants, it was worse,” she recalled.
She also touched on how society, as well as cartoons, promotes slimness as the ideal image.
“If you see a big woman there, aren’t they always the villain? The attractive ones are always innocent and the queens. But the big ones are always angry,” Cyan argued.
From Weight Loss to More Surgeries
In 2023, Cyan underwent a gastric sleeve surgery in Turkey, spending R58,000. The procedure helped her shed 25kg in six months, dropping from 92kg to 68kg. She proudly shared before-and-after pictures online, celebrating her transformation.
But with the drastic weight loss came new challenges. “The gastric sleeve made my breasts sag,” she explained. Determined to feel comfortable in her skin, she later opted for a breast lift in Durban, saying:
“I’m just getting my boobs lifted up so they are upright and pointy.”
“Surgery is Addictive”
Cyan confessed that cosmetic procedures can easily become an obsession.
“I want to have a unique body and surgeries are very addictive. Once you start, you can’t stop,” she admitted.
Despite the risks, she said the changes empower her. Her current goal weight is between 60kg and 65kg, inspired by her desire to look and feel her best.
“I know I’m just 22 [now 23] and I’m putting my body under much pressure, but I want to be in a space where I am genuinely happy with my body,” she said.
With her bold honesty, Cyan Boujee continues to dominate conversations online — proving why she remains one of the most talked-about influencers in South Africa.
