Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Lebo Morake, popularly known as Lebo M, has reportedly ended his relationship with Mel Ntsala just three months after rekindling their romance.
The couple made headlines in June 2025 when they confirmed they were back together and engaged once again. At the time, the Lion King composer trended after being spotted with Ntsala in Dubai on a R2 million yacht, where he staged a lavish proposal.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Morake gushed about their reunion, writing: “The day we stop believing in love and possibilities is when we stop dreaming. Very grateful to find my dream come true and begin this new chapter.”
However, reports surfaced over the weekend that the engagement has been called off. Entertainment outlet MDN News revealed on Sunday that the award-winning producer and reality TV star had officially split from Ntsala.
A source confirmed to TshisaLIVE that their relationship had been “faltering for some time,” ultimately leading to the breakup.
This is not the first time their love story has ended in heartbreak. Lebo M, 57, first proposed to Ntsala in 2019, but the engagement collapsed a year later amid infidelity rumours. Their reunion earlier this year had sparked excitement, with fans hopeful the pair would finally make it down the aisle.
For now, neither Lebo M nor Ntsala has publicly addressed the split. The deletion of Morake’s engagement post, however, has fueled speculation that the breakup may not have been amicable.
The celebrated composer appears to be shifting focus back to his career as fans wonder if this marks the final chapter of his turbulent romance with Mel Ntsala.
