Police in Paris have thwarted an alleged plot to kidnap Nigerian businesswoman and luxury fashion influencer, Kika Osunde, in Montparnasse, the southern part of the French capital.
According to American journalist Louis Pisano, who revealed the incident via X on Friday, September 5, 2025, the suspects allegedly planned to disguise themselves as deliverymen to abduct Osunde.
“Paris police just foiled a kidnapping attempt on Nigerian luxury fashion influencer Kika Osunde yesterday who recently moved to Paris,” Pisano wrote.
He added that on September 4, officers from the Search & Intervention Brigade arrested three men in connection with the plot.
Investigators suspect the gang tracked Osunde through her social media posts, drawn by her high-profile lifestyle. The Paris prosecutor’s office has since launched a full investigation into the attempted kidnapping.
