Barcelona is reportedly weighing the option of sending Marcus Rashford back to Manchester United, barely two months after securing him on a season-long loan, according to El Nacional.
Rashford, 27, joined the LaLiga champions in July after being frozen out at Old Trafford alongside Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia.
However, the England international is said to be struggling to settle in Spain, raising concerns within the club’s hierarchy.
Though he featured in Barcelona’s first three LaLiga fixtures, Rashford was substituted at halftime during their August 23 clash against Levante, with his side trailing 2-0. Barcelona eventually mounted a comeback to win 3-2, but doubts linger over his performances.
Club officials are now reportedly contemplating terminating his loan deal earlier than expected.
