President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Afrobeats icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, on his 50th birthday.
In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu hailed the music legend’s creativity, resilience, and lasting influence on Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
The president noted that for over two decades, 2Baba has serenaded audiences at home and abroad with timeless melodies, inspiring generations while proudly flying Nigeria’s flag on the global stage.
“His legendary song, African Queen, remains an evergreen classic that introduced the beauty of African music to the world, placing Nigeria at the heart of the global entertainment map,” Tinubu said.
