Content creator and media personality Tomike Adeoye has exposed fraudsters who attempted to lure her into a bogus government contract deal.
In a video she shared, the influencer revealed her conversation with one of the scammers, which was mostly conducted in Yoruba.
The caller pretended to be an old acquaintance from her NYSC service year, a claim Tomike instantly recognised as false but decided to play along with.
He introduced himself as someone working with LAWMA, and then claimed there was a lucrative sanitizer supply contract with all 57 local governments in Lagos State.
According to him, Tomike could make massive profits if she agreed to join the deal. But the actress, already seeing through the ploy, muted herself several times during the call just to laugh at the desperate antics.
When the fraudster realised she was not taking him seriously and wasn’t falling for the scam, he abruptly ended the call.
