Grammy-winning artist Victoria Monét has officially signed with Full Stop Management, joining a star-studded roster that includes Harry Styles, Tate McRae, John Mayer, Cardi B and Camila Cabello, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Victoria Monét who won Best New Artist at the 2024 Grammys – will now be managed by Jeffrey Azoff, Anna Savage, Shawn Holiday and Sam Weiss.
The singer-songwriter, signed to Sony Music’s RCA Records, first earned acclaim penning hits for other artists, including Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings,” “Thank U, Next” and “34+35”, before launching her own solo career.
Reflecting on her rise,Victoria Monét previously shared her awe at meeting Beyoncé at the Grammys, saying she related deeply to the Renaissance star’s perfectionism and struggles as a Black woman in the industry.
“There was a point [at the Grammys] where she looked over at me and mouthed my name to say hi, and I couldn’t believe it, so I spent the time that she was looking at me being shocked instead of saying hello back,” Monét recalled.
She added that after finally greeting Beyoncé, the superstar later sent her flowers. “I’m like, ‘You kind woman, are you trying to take me out? Because I’m going to pass out. Go easy on me.’”
