Singer and nightlife personality Yhemolee has broken his silence after allegations surfaced that his wife, Thaylor B, and her friends assaulted businesswoman and interior decorator Queen Akeredolu over claims of a romantic affair.
The allegations were first made public by blogger Cutie Julls, sparking heated conversations online.
In a press statement on Wednesday, September 10, Akeredolu alleged she was lured to an address in Lekki on Saturday, September 6, where she was allegedly attacked by Thaylor, her sister, and three friends — Tiwa, Treasure, and Funke.
According to her, the women accused her of having an affair with Yhemolee, used belts and other objects to beat her, tore her clothes, and destroyed personal belongings including an iPhone 16 Pro, wig, glasses, and designer outfits.
Akeredolu further revealed she had worked with Thaylor in June on a project and was invited for a follow-up meeting before the incident occurred. She denied any romantic ties with Yhemolee, stating that the matter is now with her lawyers and the “appropriate authorities.”
Reacting on Thursday via Snapchat, Yhemolee appeared unbothered by the allegations. He shared a screenshot of a chat from a friend who joked:
“If you enter Cutie Julls’ comment section, you go kpai person.”
He added:
“Bro this is just too funny pls 🤣🤣🤣.”
Yhemolee also posted a video of himself enjoying an outing with his wife, followed by a screenshot of a supportive fan message praising his resilience. He captioned it:
“baba ni baba Amirion 💪🏽🙌🏾 9yrs career strong!”
The controversy comes just weeks after Yhemolee faced marital crisis rumours over cryptic posts, which he later clarified were inspired by Kemi Adetiba’s series To Kill A Monkey (TKAM) and not related to his marriage.
Yhemolee married Thaylor B (real name Oyin Tayo) on September 6, 2024, in a star-studded Lagos wedding attended by Timi Dakolo, Zlatan, Poco Lee, and Rahman Jago. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in January 2025.
