“The reality is I’m just the baddie” – Cyan Boujee to Feature in New Showmax Documentary “Slay Queens”

Cyan Boujee Biography, Age, Real Name, Boyfriend, Before Surgery, Viral Video, Trending Video, Instagram, News, Pictures, House, Cars, Net Worth, and Career

South African DJ, YouTuber, and influencer Cyan Boujee, whose real name is Honour Zuma, is set to share her story in a brand-new Showmax Original documentary titled Slay Queens. The five-part series will premiere on October 31, with new episodes dropping every Friday.

Produced by Vusi Zion and his creative team at Kaimal Pictures, Slay Queens takes a deep dive into the controversial and often misunderstood world of women pursuing the so-called “soft life”—a lifestyle defined by luxury, beauty, and social influence. Zion, who previously produced the hit Showmax docuseries Soft Life, promises an unfiltered exploration of this modern-day phenomenon.

Slay Queens was born from a need to hold up a mirror to a world we often speak about in whispers, memes, or judgment, but rarely listen to directly,” Zion said. “My goal is not to sanitise or sensationalise, but to create a space where women living these realities can share their truth without filters.

The documentary will not only feature popular influencers but also ballers, nightlife insiders, and people who directly experience or shape this vibrant culture.

Following the release of the show’s trailer, Cyan Boujee reacted playfully on her Instagram stories, writing:

“LOL!! The Showmax post says slay queen… the reality is I’m just the baddie in the documentary. Cute mix-up. Let’s have a perceptive after watching. Thanks bye.”

At just 24 years old, Cyan Boujee has built a powerful personal brand through her music, digital content, and online presence. Her inclusion in Slay Queens adds authenticity and intrigue to the project, as she remains one of South Africa’s most talked-about and influential young women.
