Big Brother Naija Season 10 runner-up, Dede, has finally addressed her relationship with fellow ex-housemate Kola, making it clear that she’s not interested in pursuing anything romantic outside the house.
During the show, Dede and Kola shared a complicated bond — with Kola openly expressing his romantic interest despite Dede maintaining that she was already in a committed relationship outside the house.
In a recent post-show interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Dede admitted that while she genuinely likes Kola, her feelings aren’t strong enough to sustain a romantic relationship.
“I do like Kola but it is not enough for a relationship. I do like him. He is an amazing person. I would always sing his praise regardless of what it is. But it’s not enough for what we thought it is,” she said.
The reality star went on to reveal that she eventually got bored with her relationship with Kola during their time on the show, suggesting that their connection lost its spark as the season progressed.
Despite her decision, Dede expressed admiration for Kola’s personality, describing him as “an amazing person” who deserves respect and appreciation.
Her statement comes shortly after Kola, in a separate interview, described Dede as “just my sister” and emphasized that their bond was purely platonic.
