Former Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard, has expressed delight following his induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame, becoming the 26th inductee in the 2025 class.
The Belgian star, who enjoyed a glittering career at Stamford Bridge, won the Premier League title twice — first in the 2014/15 season, when he was also named Player of the Season, and again in 2016/17.
Hazard now joins a prestigious list of Chelsea legends in the Hall of Fame, including Petr Čech, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba.
As part of the honour, the former Real Madrid winger received an engraved medallion and a £10,000 donation from the Premier League to a charity of his choice.
Reacting to the recognition, Hazard wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
“For a small Belgian guy from Braine-le-Comte playing for fun, being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame with these greats of the game at 34 years old is crazy.
Thank you to all of you; I will see you soon, my friends!”
Hazard spent seven seasons at Chelsea, featuring in 245 Premier League matches, scoring 85 goals and providing 85 assists, cementing his legacy as one of the league’s most electrifying players.
