Nottingham Forest have sacked Ange Postecoglou just 39 days after appointing him as manager, following their 3–0 defeat to Chelsea.
The decision marks the shortest managerial reign by any permanent Premier League boss to leave a club during the season.
Postecoglou, who was brought in to stabilize Forest after a poor start to the campaign, failed to record a single win during his brief tenure.
Club sources say the board acted swiftly amid growing frustration over results and performances, with the team slipping further down the league table.
An interim manager is expected to be announced before Forest’s next league fixture.
