Nollywood actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh has shared an emotional testimony about her spiritual transformation, revealing how the Holy Spirit healed her from past struggles and restored peace in her life.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram on Tuesday, the actress disclosed that God delivered her from sexual immorality, anger, and emotional turmoil, transforming her through a journey of faith and celibacy.
“Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life,” she wrote. “I trained my heart to be disgusted by intimacy without love, because true love is patient and holy.”
Tonto explained that embracing celibacy helped her grow spiritually and strengthened her connection with God. “It allowed me to hear God clearly and manage my emotions wisely,” she said.
The actress also celebrated a miraculous family restoration, revealing that God reunited her with her long-lost sister, Chinyere, after over 40 years of separation.
“What was lost can be found again in His mercy,” Tonto wrote, describing the reunion as a divine moment of grace.
She said the reunion happened in January 2025, following a prophetic revelation during a church service led by Pastor Jerry Eze. Her father had previously mentioned having a daughter he lost contact with, which led to the emotional family reconnection.
A viral video captured the touching moment Tonto, her father, and her son embraced Chinyere after years apart.
Reflecting on her transformation, Tonto expressed gratitude for God’s favour, writing: “Doors open before I knock. Protocols are lifted for my sake. It is not luck. It is grace in motion.”
She added that peace has now become her priority: “My peace is sacred. If it does not feed my spirit, it does not deserve my energy.”
Having survived pain, loss, and personal struggles, the actress says she is now focused on protecting her light, living intentionally, and using her story to inspire others.
